Hi everyone!
Last Friday we had a lovely surprise when Millie's dad Darren came in and told us all about his work as a pilot. He showed us a video of all the exciting places he goes to in Papua New Guinea. It was very interesting to compare our lives here in New Zealand to life in a small village over there.

Thanks Darren! I think there were quite a few people who decided that they might like to be a pilot  and have exciting adventures like you do, when they grow up!

Week 1

What a great start to term 1! It was so nice to meet you all and I can see we are all going to have lots of fun and do lots of learning this year! Well done to everyone who arrived on Day 1 with all their books and writing things all ready to go!!!

Thomas is back from his holidays too and wasn't he happy to see all his new friends in Room 18.

Last week we heard a knock on the door and there was Max's nana Barbara, a Mystery Reader who had secretly arrived without even Max knowing!! We really enjoyed the funny story she read to us -
